VEHICLE ACCIDENT: 3 Injured in Kern County Car Crash

Bakersfield – At least three people suffered minor to moderate injuries Monday after the vehicle they were riding veered off the road and overturned along Rancho Road, the California Highway Patrol said.

According to reports, the vehicle was heading south at about 65 mph on Rancho Road just near David Road when for unknown reason, the driver lost control of it and veered off the road. He tried to regain control but overcorrected, causing the vehicle to overturn.

The driver and two passengers suffered injuries and were taken to Kern Medical Center for treatment.

Authorities are still investigating factors that might have caused the car crash.
