30-year-old Woman Killed in Highway 17 Collision

Santa Cruz- A 30-year-old woman has died after a vehicle collision along Highway 17 on Monday at 3:10 p.m.
According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports, the female driver was traveling on southbound Highway 17 when she crashed into another vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The other vehicle driver sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, CHP reports said.
Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident. Traffic operations on southbound Highway 17 resumed at 5:10 p.m.
