DUI, HEAD-ON COLLISION: 80-Year-Old Man Dies in Magalia DUI-Related Head-On Collision

Magalia- An 80-year-old male driver died after being involved in an alcohol-related head-on collision which occurred near Chico, said reports.

The elderly man was traveling along the northbound lane of Skyway Road at a speed of 20 mph when his vehicle was suddenly hit by a southbound car being driven by 23-year-old Jordan Fischbach.

Authorities said the southbound car moved across the yellow lines and it blocked the path of the elderly man, causing the two vehicles to collide.

The elderly man was announced dead at the accident area. Meanwhile, Fischbach was rushed to Enloe Hospital after sustaining moderate injuries in the incident. He was then arrested for suspicion of felony DUI.
