DUI ACCIDENT: Apparent Teen DUI Fatal Accident under Police Investigation

Royal Oaks – Authorities are now investigating how Erica Shanice, a teenager, was able to obtain alcohol prior to crashing into a tree in Royal Oaks killing one passenger, reports said.

According to officials, drunken driving is seen as the main cause of the fatal accident in San Miguel Canyon Road.

Initial investigations found that Duran was driving her 1993 Honda sedan while drunk when she crashed into a tree leaving an occupant, Joshua Perez dead.

According to latest reports, there were six passengers inside Duran’s sedan, five of them sustained minor to serious injuries.
