Alameda County- Police are trying to determine the cause of a rollover accident along Interstate Highway 580 near Livermore which claimed the life of a woman.
According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers, the accident occurred along the eastbound I-580. The unnamed female driver was traveling near the Stonecut overpass when her 1997 Honda Civic suddenly swerved off of the road and moved towards the center median before going up an embankment.
The car then rolled over several times while on its way down. Reports said the woman was thrown off the vehicle and she landed along the roadway.
She died at the accident area. According to authorities, it shows that she is the sole occupant of the vehicle at the time of the accident.
