MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT: Biker dead on the scene after crashing along Interstate 5

Norwalk – A motorcyclist died instantly after he crashed and got ran over multiple times on Interstate 5 Thursday morning.
CHP Officer Al Perez said that the unnamed cyclist was traveling north near Pioneer Boulevard along with a group of cyclists around 4:30 a.m., but the victim sped away from the group.
His motorcycle jerked, toppling him down and sending him over the median onto the southbound lane. Unfortunately, he was struck by three vehicles on the other lane, including a truck and an SUV.
South lanes of the interstate between Pioneer Boulevard and 605 Freeway had to be closed while investigation was going on. Northbound vehicles experienced slow traffic. They were re-opened around 7:30 a.m.
A separate crash occurred later when big rig rear-ended a stopped passenger car.
