Crib Recall Biggest in History
November 23, 2009
Washington – The federal Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the other day that the recall of Drop down cribs may be the biggest in history.
Investigations revealed that faulty design of the cribs may cause death to infants and children. Recently, a ten month old baby, Tyler Jonathan, died when his head was stuck between the headboard and the side rail of a drop down side crib. The accident was a painful experience for a mother to see his child suffer because of a product defect. The baby choked to death due to strangulation.
CPSC deemed this product was unsafe for further use and recalled them to prevent further more accidents to happen in the future.
