CAR-TRAIN COLLISION: Driver Dies, Child Hospitalized after Car Collides with Train

Tulare County- A 32-year-old female driver died while her 6-year-old daughter was hospitalized after their car collided with a train, said Tulare County Fire Department officials.

According to reports, the incident occurred along Avenue 306 and Road 60 near Goshen.

The woman was traveling south along Road 60 when she moved towards the train tracks. Officials believe that she did not see the approaching train.

Her Honda was hit by the train and was also dragged by it for around 100 yards.

Reports said the driver was announced dead at the accident area while her daughter was taken to Community Regional Medical Center.
