DOG BITE INCIDENT: Eleven year-old boy Saves Mom from Two Bulldogs
October 18, 2011
Colton - An 11-year old boy saved his mother’s life after the latter was attacked by two American bulldogs at Colton’s 200th East O Street on Sunday, reports said.
According to reports, Anthony Rodriguez used his skateboard to drive away the dogs after they rushed and bit his mother Gina Palumbo, while they were walking both of their pet German shepherd puppies to a nearby store.
Palumbo stated that she was very proud of his son after he single-handedly fought the animals by hitting them with his skateboard. She further added that they just intended to buy milk and did not expect to be suddenly assaulted.
After the incident she was taken to the hospital for chest and leg injuries. On the other hand, the American bulldogs were said to be from Joanna Holguin’s family and were believed to have escaped from their yard after breaking the fence.
The dogs were taken to a shelter in San Bernardino, while the owner shall face charges for their liability in the event.
