EMPLOYMENT LAW: Homeless Veterans to Receive $5.4 Million in Job Training Grants

Washington- The US Department of Labor has announced granting of $5,436,148 to provide homeless veterans with job training and help them succeed in civilan career, a statement released in its website said.
The award was given by the department’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service through its Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program. The grants were awarded on a competitive basis to state and local workforce investment board, local public agencies and nonprofit organizations.
Hundreds of homeless veterans are expected to benefit from the said program.
