MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT: LA Detective Off- Duty When Killed in H-110

Los Angeles- A Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) investigator was off duty when he died in a motorcycle crash along the 110 Freeway on Friday at 11:00 a.m.

According to reports, the detective was riding his personal motorcycle along the 110 Freeway when a truck hit him. Rescuers transported the 48-year-old officer to a hospital, where he died shortly after.

His name is being withheld pending notification of family members. Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of the accident.
