TRUCK ACCIDENT: LA Trucker Faces Seven Charges in Fatal Crash

Los Angeles- A driver is facing seven charges on Tuesday for a big rig accident on Angeles Crest Highway.

According to Los Angeles County prosecutor's lawsuit, Marcos Costa was driving his 18-wheeler along Los Angeles Crest Highway when it began to spew smoke. He continued driving amidst warning that his 25-ton truck was too hazardous to travel on the mountainous road. At least two people died and three others were hurt in the April 2009 accident.

Costa is facing vehicular manslaughter, murder, and four other charges before the Los Angeles District Court. The jurors are expecting to hear the legal defenses of his attorney.
