MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT: Man seriously hurt in Oakland motorcycle crash

Oakland – A 38-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries Tuesday morning after a motorcycle accident in Oakland, the police said.
According to Officer Jeff Thomason, the motorcycle crash took place at about 10:50 a.m. near Broadway and 24th Street. Police officers, who responded to the accident scene, found a man ejected from his motorbike.
Investigators said the biker was heading south on Broadway when he lost control of his Honda CBR motorcycle while he was approaching 24th Street. They believe alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
The man was brought to Highland Hospital and remains in critical condition as of this morning. He was wearing a helmet when the accident happened.
His name has not yet been released.
