BUS ACCIDENT: Missouri school bus multiple crash kills Two people

Gray Summit, Missouri - A pickup driver and a student died in Missouri school bus multiple accident at Interstate Highway 44 on Thursday.

Reports said a truck collided with a tractor trailer when two school buses crashed onto the accident site at 10:15 a.m. The pickup truck driver and a young, female student from St. James Missouri sustained fatal injuries.

At least eight students were seriously injured and were treated at St. John Mercy Hospital.

At least 36 other middle and high school students suffered minor injuries and were transported to SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical center.

A 16-year-old female student has been in critical condition at St. John's Children's Hospital.

The two buses supposedly were en route to Six Flags educational trip.

Missouri State Highway Patrol officers are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
