EMPLOYMENT DISCRIMINATION: Oprah’s network Sued for Discrimination, Wrongful Termination

Los Angeles - The Oprah Winfrey Network is being sued by a former employee for alleged discrimination and wrongful termination, reports said.
In the lawsuit filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court, Catherine Dunn claimed she was subjected to hostile work environment because of her multiple sclerosis, an auto-immune disease.
Dunn was said to be working for the network in August 2008 as an executive assistant. She further claimed that she was subjected to hostility which made her condition much worse and so she was forced to take leaves and was replaced by another employee.
Dunn did not specify in the lawsuit the amount of damages that she is seeking.
