PERSONAL INJURY LAW: Painter Kinkade Released after posting Bail on DUI Charges

Carmel –Authorities have released Thomas Kinkade from jail after the famous landscape artist posted bail following his arrest on suspicion of DUI charges the other day.

News reports said Kinkade was arrested Friday night when police pulled over the artist’s Mercedes-Benz which did not have a front license plate.

When accosted, Kinkade apparently smelled of alcohol. He also failed the sobriety test that the police conducted later.

He posted bail the following day after his arrest.

The Placerville-born artist became famous for his landscape paintings incorporating religious themes.
