ROLLOVER ACCIDENT: Police Investigates Fatal Rollover Accident near Coalinga

Coalinga - Authorities are investigating a rollover accident that killed a 77-year-old woman and injured four others along Interstate 5 near Coalinga.

Police said the car that was carrying them suddenly drifted into a guard rail and rolled over while it was moving southbound along I-5 south of Waterloo Avenue.

The unidentified woman, from North Hollywood, was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center where she was announced dead.

Meanwhile, the four occupants, from Reno and North Hollywood, were also brought to the same hospital to receive treatment for their injuries.

Authorities said alcohol and drugs are not likely involved in the fatal accident.
