CONSTRUCTION ACCIDENT: Scaffolding Accident in San Ysidro Still Under Investigation

San Diego – Authorities are already determining the cause of the scaffolding-related accident at the San Ysidro Port of Entry that damaged cars and left at least 24 people injured, reports said.
According to a report by the LA Times, officials are still investigating the reason for the collapse of scaffolding installations on the northbound lane of San Ysidro border.
The debris from the collapse trapped 15 cars and sent 11 to hospitals, four of them were construction workers, local reports said.
Because of the incident, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials were forced to close all northbound traffic from Mexico border due to the construction accident, LA Times reported.
