CAR CRASH: Soccer Star David Beckham 'Speeding' before LA Crash

Los Angeles - L.A. Galaxy star David Beckham was speeding during his May 6 Artesia Boulevard crash, reports said.

Critics commented that the football icon was speeding and recklessly driving when his black Cadillac rear-ended a Mitsubishi car at 405 Freeway.

The California Highway Patrol officers reviewed 911 call reports and heard remarks on how Beckham was tailgating cars and pulling in and out of the southbound lanes when the crash occurred. A caller described how the athlete-celeb recklessly navigated before the Mitsubishi car.

Beckham's eldest son, Brooklyn, was uninjured in the accident. David was not cited for the fender bender crash. The Mitsubishi driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
