CAR ACCIDENT: Speeding Driver Dies in Yolo County Solo-Car Accident

Yolo County- A speeding male driver has died after his car slammed into a tree, said reports.

The Yolo County Coroner’s Office identified the man as 21-year-old Joel Lowell, from Brooks.

According to reports, he was driving along County Road 23 at an excessive speed when he suddenly lost control of his 2001 Chevrolet Camaro due to unknown reasons. He was then ejected from his vehicle after it smashed into a tree.

Authorities believe that he was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Alcohol is likely involved in the incident, said police.
