ROLLOVER ACCIDENT: Suspected DUI Driver Arrested after Fatal Avila Beach Rollover Accident

San Luis Obispo County- A 21-year-old suspected DUI driver was arrested by authorities following a rollover accident which claimed the lives of two individuals, said California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers.

According to reports, the driver identified as Evan Green, from Chico, was traveling west on Avenue Beach Drive when the accident occurred at around 2:00 a.m.

The driver had difficulty when turning right on Avila Beach. He then overcorrected, causing his 2004 Saturn Vue to roll over several times towards the Avila Beach Golf Resort.

Reports said two of passengers died upon impact. Meanwhile, Green and another passenger identified as Jacob Zimmer, from Castro Valley, were rushed to Sierra Vista to be treated for major injuries.
