AIRPLANE ACCIDENT: Two Injured after LAX Aircraft’s Floor Board Collapsed

Los Angeles- At least two people suffered multiple injuries after an American Airlines aircraft's floor board collapsed in Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Wednesday at 6:50 p.m.
According to reports, the Flight 557 halted on Gate 48A at Terminal 4; passengers were exiting the aircraft when its floor board collapsed. A passenger and a crew member suffered broken bones after falling 10 feet from the tarmac.
Paramedics arrived and transported the injured people to Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital in Marina del Ray. Doctors affirmed that the victims are now in stable condition.
The aircraft took off from Boston and had a stopover in Chicago before landing in LAX. The police officers led the rest of the passengers and crew members to a stair truck.
Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
