Tulare – A 36-year-old woman was fatally injured in an accident believed to be caused by a drunk driver who failed to yield to a stop sign near Porterville Thursday night, the California Highway Patrol said.
The victim, Rocio Martinez, was driving her eastbound 2007 Honda Civic along Highway 190 at about 10:20 pm when she was hit by a southbound pickup truck driven by an unidentified 32-year-old man who was later arrested on suspicions of DUI.
