INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT: Worker Dies after Falling into Washing Machine

Los Angeles- An industrial worker has died after falling into a washing machine in Boyle Heights on Wednesday at 12:23 p.m.
According to reports, an employee of Jean Genie Wash Studio Inc. was using a horizontal washer when he fell into the machine. He was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Los Angeles police officers commented that the male victim was crushed inside the washer when they arrived.
Jean Genie Wash Studio Inc. is a denim washing business located at 600 block of S. Clarence Street.
Los Angeles police officers and Cal-OSHA are investigating the details on the cause of accident.
