VEHICLE ACCIDENT: Young Pickup Truck Driver Seriously Injured after Crashing into Center Median

Placer County- A 21-year-old female Chevy Silverado driver has sustained serious injuries after hitting a center median barrier along Interstate 80, said reports.

The pickup truck driver identified as Hillary Cantrell, from Rocklin, was traveling west along the freeway’s fast lane, near Gilardi Road, when the accident occurred.

California Highway Patrol (CHP) officials said the woman performed a dangerous turning movement. Her vehicle crashed into the median barrier and rolled over numerous times as a result of it.

According to reports, the woman was taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center. Cantrell is now under a critical condition.

Investigation is still ongoing, but authorities believe that the woman is driving while intoxicated.
